Friends of Marcellus Park
Friends of Marcellus Park is an organization that was formed after the Town of Marcellus accepted the park from Onondaga County. Its mission statement is to enhance and preserve the beauty, service and use of Marcellus Park. Over the years the Friends of Marcellus Park have been instrumental planning for the park’s future and with fundraising at Olde Home Days, Summer Concert series, and Marcellus Fall Festival.
Since its formation, The Friends of Marcellus Park have worked hand in hand with the Town of Marcellus Parks and Recreation Department to meet the needs of the park.
Over the past years, the Friends have helped in upgrades to Marcellus Park such as the new playground, bringing more electricity to the pavilions, adding the playground pavilion, replacing trees, addition of a new concession stand and storage building, and most recently improvements to the Welcome Center.
Leave your mark in the Park
Friends of Marcellus Park offer a way to leave your mark in the Park.
