NOTICE OF RECEIPT OF
TAX ROLL AND WARRANT
NOTICE OF COLLECTION
The undersigned Tax Collector of the Town of Marcellus, Onondaga County, State of New York, having received the Tax Roll and Warrant, will receive taxes, without penalty, at the Marcellus Town Hall, 22 East Main Street, Marcellus, NY from December 29, 2023, through January 31, 2024, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 pm.
Beginning February 1, 2024, through February 29, 2024, taxes will be collected with penalties at 1 percent (1%), Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 pm.
Beginning March 1, 2024, through April 1, 2024, taxes will be collected with penalties at 1.5 percent (1.5%), Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 pm.
Beginning April 2, 2024, all unpaid taxes are returned to the Onondaga County Department of Finance, Syracuse, NY.
If taxes remain unpaid after March 15, 2024, a second notice of taxes due is processed and an additional charge of two dollars ($2.00) will be levied and become part of the taxes due.
