Tentative completion of Assessment Roll for Town of Marcellus

TOWN OF MARCELLUS NOTICE OF TENTATIVE COMPLETION OF ASSESSMENT ROLL                                     (Pursuant to Sec 506, 1526, of the Real Property Tax Law)
Hearing of Complaints

Notice is hereby given that the Assessor of the Town of Marcellus, County of Onondaga has completed his tentative Assessment Roll for the current year, that a copy thereof has been filed with the Town Clerk at the Town Hall, 24 E. Main St., where it may be seen and examined by any person interested therein until the FOURTH TUESDAY OF MAY NEXT. Assessor will be in attendance with such tentative Assessment Roll (BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. CALL 673-3269 ext. 5) as follows:

1.    May 4,     Marcellus Fire Station, 1 PM to 5 PM
2.    May 7,     Marcellus Fire Station, 2 PM to 6 PM
3.    May 9,     Marcellus Fire Station, 9 AM to 1PM
4.    May 14,   Marcellus Fire Station, 4 PM to 8 PM

Grievance Day will be Wednesday, June 5th between the hours of 5PM and 9PM for a total of at least four hours. Said Board of Assessment Review will meet at the Fire Station on Slate Hill Road in the said town to hear and examine all verified written complaints in relation to such assessments, on the application of any person believing himself aggrieved thereby. Formal complaints must be filed with the Assessor by May 31, 2019 prior to meeting with the Board of Review. REVIEWS WILL BE CONDUCTED BY APPOINTMENT ONLY 673-3269 ext. 5.
